Change Can Happen Indeed
Centuries after the first black
slave arrived in chains on the shores of America, a new dawn has
indeed arrived with
Obama's
march to the White House complete. Never before has an American
President-elect been celebrated around the entire world like they

showing us all that the future is still full of hope.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence
This year, Diasporafric joins the

violence, but especially violence against our women and
children. We urge our readers to stand up and speak out against
these crimes. If you witness abuse and remain silent, we say you
are as guilty as the abuser. Make a difference -
